New Patient Information

Welcome to the Gynecology Institute of Chicago!   We are happy you are considering becoming a client.  During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your Chicago Gynecologist.  We will discuss with you at length which treatment options are best for your specific needs and goals, and work to ensure that those goals are met.  This desire stems from Dr. Nicole E. Williams and the Institute's commitment to outstanding and personalized client service. In addition, our doors are open to ANYONE with a uterus- no matter what you look like, who you love, or your gender identity.

FAQ's

What time should I arrive for my appointment?

We ask that you arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to any appointment, gynecologic, holistic, or aesthetic to confirm your registration and complete documents.

What should I bring to my appointment?

In order to properly diagnose and treat your specific condition, it is imperative that you bring any and all laboratory results, imaging studies, and pertinent records to your appointment for physician review.

What payment(s) are accepted?

We accept credit cards for aesthetic and acupuncture services and most major insurance for gynecologic services except Medicaid.  We also offer reasonable fees for patients without insurance for gynecologic and holistic care, and accept most major credit cards.

Do you take my insurance?

We take most major insurance, such as Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Blue Choice, United Healthcare, CIGNA, Aetna, Humana, and Medicare. We will attempt verification of your insurance prior to your appointment in an effort to eliminate unnecessary billing.  However, we recommend that you call your insurer personally to ensure we are in your network.

What comes with my annual gyn exam?

Please keep in mind that an annual exam is there for your WELLNESS. If you have a problem, a problem visit may be billed.  Dr. Williams sees low income and no insurance patients at Mercy Hopsital.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask that you cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance.  Otherwise, a $150 charge may be assessed.
